A valued long-term advisor.
Versus the counsel of the moment.
For over 35 years, Sandra Matrone Mack and her colleagues have served a diverse base of clients in a way that is both highly productive and highly personal. Today, this time-proven, results-oriented approach is energizing the mission of Mack Law Associates LLC: a forward-thinking firm offering a wide range of capabilities across key segments of corporate law.
A collaborative mindset that leads to long-term relationships.
At Mack Law, our clients require a level of insight and involvement beyond the typical service provider. They appreciate the value of having a strategic partner that understands their needs in a comprehensive way and is client focused. This includes sensitivity to the nature of their business and risk tolerance. The realities of their competitive environment. Along with their vision for the future.
The real art of effective legal counsel is in handling the myriad day-to-day details, while never losing sight of the big picture. That’s why we meet with each client on a regular basis to talk about potential challenges and opportunities on the horizon. This collaborative mindset has led to a style of practice that goes beyond the drafting of a contract or the resolution of a legal issue. It’s about having a responsive partner you can trust to provide timely, pragmatic advice with long-term value.
Approaching our work with a sense of community.
When we contribute to the needs of our community, the fresh perspective we gain enables us to look at issues from a different point of view. At Mack Law, we look for areas where we can help based on the strengths we have and the value we can provide in a meaningful way. This targeted pro bono work not only gives to the community but strengthens our firm as well. Here are two notable examples:
RI Student Loan Authority (RISLA). Sandra Mack was appointed to the board of directors of the RI Student Loan Authority by the Governor of Rhode Island in 2015, and she currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. Her background in public finance has been a great resource to RISLA, as the Authority develops creative solutions for the challenges of financial literacy, tuition assistance and loan refinancing.
Fisher House Boston. Fisher House Boston is a home away from home for military families who are supporting a loved one at the VA Healthcare Medical Facility in Roxbury, MA. Sandra Mack, an initial founding director and officer, has provided pro bono legal and business advice since inception. She recently assisted Fisher House in the development of an endowment with guiding investment policies, drafted whistleblower and conflict of interest policies, updated bylaws to meet best nonprofit practices and adhere to the Internal Revenue Service rules applicable to charities and provide general advice to ultimately help Fisher House expand its reach and increase the families it serves.
Supporting diversity wherever it can make a difference.
At Mack Law, our commitment to diversity takes on many forms. First, it calls for a genuine open workplace that is transparent, fair and inclusive. We’re also dedicated to recruiting and supporting diverse candidates to become employees, associates and professional resources for our firm.
In the community beyond our walls, Mack Law also embraces any opportunity to support diversity where we can truly make an impact. This includes collaborative efforts with industry groups and community organizations to attract people of all backgrounds and capabilities to the legal profession — and to help them make that goal a reality.
